On May 18th, the battle for the city of Bastion will commence at the NCWC. An 8000 point Apocalypse Battle between the Imperium and its enemies will decide the fate of over 40 million souls caught in the path of the bloody ambition of Chaos. Governor Alsabor Creed has reportedly resurrected one of the greatest treasures of the Imperium to fight for the city -- an Imperial Baneblade that has not seen action since the Age of Apostasy. The war has also continued in orbit, as a small Imperial fleet of Astartes Strike Cruisers converge on a contingent of Marauder-class vessels that hang above the planet. In the distance, Imperial observers have spotted the Infernal Answer -- the flag ship of the Witchlight Marauders! The Blood Angels are engaging the Chaos cruisers as the plains begin to rumble with the weight of the approaching enemy forces!
