It's Waaaaaggghhhh! Again!

The Battle for Bastion City Continues...

RUMBLE ON THE PLAINS!

HAVING DECIMATED THE IMPERIAL FORCES DURING THE BATTLE OF WOLVESBLOOD, CHAOS BEGINS TO MOVE TOWARD THE CITY OF BASTION. THE CITY IS MOST PRIZED FOR ITS HOLY RELICS, WHICH ARE KEPT SAFELY IN THE CATHEDRAL FORTRESS OF TEMPLE BASTION, IN THE CITY CENTRE; THE IMPERIUM FEARS THAT CHAOS WILL INVADE THE CITY AND SEIZE A PIECE OF IMPERIAL HISTORY WITH IT.
IMPERIAL FORCES HAVE BEGUN TO MOVE BACK TOWARDS THE CITY WALLS IN ORDER TO SHORE UP DEFENSES FOR A SIEGE WHICH IS THOUGHT TO BE INNEVITABLE. HOWEVER, CHAOS IS MOVING QUICKLY...
IN AN EFFORT TO GIVE THE DEFENDERS THE TIME THEY NEED TO COMPLETE THEIR PREPARATIONS, THE IMPERIAL GOVERNOR, ALSABOR CREED, HAS ORDERED ALL IMPERIAL FORCES TO SEND DETACHMENTS OUT ONTO THE PLAINS SURROUNDING BASTION; THEY ARE TO INTERCEPT THE FORCES OF CHAOS, OR ANY OTHER FORCES LOOKING TO PICK THE BONES OF THE CITY, AND LAUNCH A COUNTER-ASSAULT.
This Sunday, all battles will count towards determining the really big battle at Bastion City. All 40k players are encouraged to pair up with Imperium players to reflect what is happening in this campaign. In other words, if you're anybody other than the Imperials, go find the Imperials and set up a game. When you're done your battles, report to me how many points they were, and what the outcome was. I'm sorry this is a little short notice, but I haven't had a reliable connection.
Hope to see you there.
